Martin Motor Sports (a division of MMD Sales Ltd.) and Rayburns Marine World are pleased to announce that they have agreed to merge their operations effective January 01st. Both organizations share a proud heritage of leadership and excellence in the marine industry and take great pride in taking care of their customers and their staff. We are all excited around the opportunities that this merger will create for our combined customers and our team.
From the perspective of existing Rayburns customers, we see a combined organization being able to provide a wider range of products and services, as well as a greater selection of those products. From the perspective of Martin customers, the increased scale and additional product lines will provide an increased level of inventory and the ability to meet the needs of our customers. The combination allows our combined organization to continue on its quest to invest in our business with a focus on providing long term solutions to our customers, needs and desires.
Over the next few months, both parties will complete the necessary steps to complete the deal, including all necessary due diligence and integration of operations. The marine operations of the two organizations will be merged in both Calgary and Kelowna under Martin Motor Sports effective January 01, 2018.
Martin Motor Sports will offer marine and power sports products through five stores across Western Canada. Together with our sister organization Martin Deerline's ten stores, our customer service driven team focuses on meeting the needs of our valuable customers by partnering with some of the best manufacturers in the world.
